  • Pre-Trek Briefing:

Morocco is a friendly an welcoming country with its traditions, religion, architectere, dress and tradewhich are part of an ancient culture that has developped in a harsh environnement and remained inchanged for centuries.

    Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat

    Pick up with a short tour of Casablanca, which is the economic capital of Morocco and we will visit the Hassan II Great Mosque. It is one of the Islamic world’s greatest monuments. We will visit also the Place Mohammed V, and the surrounding areas of the Royal Palace. After that we departure to Rabat, which is the administrative capital of Morocco and we visit here the Mohammed V Mausoleum, the Hassan Tower and the Place des Oudayas. Late in the afternoon, we will check-in at your hotel, with dinner and overnight stay.

    Day 2: Rabat – Mosque – Meknes :

    Today we drive to Meknes to visit this former Imperial city. We stay here overnight in local hotel. You will have guided tour of Meknes city.

    Day 3:Meknes – Volubilis - Fes :

    After breakfast we will depart to Fes with a stop at the Roman ruins of Volubilis. Then we departure to Fez and where we stay for dinner and overnight stay in local riad.

    Day 4: Fes city tour :

    Today’s whole day will be dedicated to the sightseeing of Fez. It is the oldest cultural and spiritual imperial city of Morocco and highlights will include the medieval Medina, the Medersas (an Islamic teaching university), the El Qaraouiyyin Mosque. We stay here in Fez again for dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

    Day 5: Fes - Ifrane - Azrou - Midelt - Rissani - Merzoug

    From Fez starting towards city of Ifrane - called as "the Switzerland of Morocco". Then we pass Midlet in High Atlas mountains. We will stop at the famous cedar forest where you may see the Barbarian apes. Our Morocco desert journey continues along the spectacular Ziz valley with panoramic views along the way. We will pass few Berber villages to reach Erfoud, and Rissani. In the afternoon we reach Merzouga and we will ride camels from here to the desert. We will experience desert area, watching sunset in desert. We will sleep in desert camp in tents and you will enjoy traditional Moroccan dinner around campfire.

    Day 6: Merzouga Sahara desert – Todra Gorge – Dades valley / gorges

    Our private Morocco trip continues in the morning by camel trek and you will enjoy also sunrise over the dunes. Then we get back to Merzouga village and after breakfast we drive towards Tinghir and Todra gorges – the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco. Here we’ll have the opportunity to hike along it’s valley. After lunch in the heart of the gorge we’ll drive through the Dades Valley, where you’ll see the castles and the amazing rock formations known as “monkey toes”. We stay overnight in local riad in the heart of the gorge.

    Day 7: Dades valley – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

    On the last day of our private Morocco trip we drive through the Dades Valley passing “the route of thousand Kasbahs”. We’ll stop at Kalaat Mgouna, “the rose city” where you may purchase the rosewater which will make your linen smell good a long time after your trip is over. After that we continue to Ouarzazate, called as “the Hollywood of Africa”. We drive to Ait Ben haddou where we stay for lunch . Ait Ben Haddou kasbah is the largest Kasbah in Morocco and is recognized by UNESCO as a world heritage. It was a backdrop for many famous movies, including 'Lawrence of Arabia', 'Gladiator',etc. Our private Morocco trip continues through the Tizi ‘n’ tichka pass at 2260 m, passing the High Atlas Mountains. We arrive to Marrakech later afternoon.

    Day 8: Marrakech – Casablanca airport or Marrakech Airport

    In the morning you will have free program and then we depart to Casablanca. That will be end of our 8 day private Morocco tour.
