We did the Challenge Day Hike with Trekking Morocco Mountains. In the morning, the driver conveniently picked us up at our Riad and drove us to Imlil (1h30). There we started our hike with Lahcen, a local mountain guide from Imlil, who accompanied us the whole day and gave us a great insight into berber life and the Atlas Mountains. He was very knowledgeable and it was a pleasure spending the day with him. We also had a nice lunch in a berber village halfway our hike. After a full day of hiking we were picked up by the same driver and he took us back to Marrakech. The driver was also a lovely person who made our drive as enjoyable as possible. We booked the tour only one day in advance but everything went extremely smooth and they clearly put a lot of care in picking the most skilled and knowledgeable people for their tours. 5-star rating and definitely worth the price!
A note to say how much we enjoyed our walking in the Atlas Mountains. Thank you very much for all your help which was much appreciated. A great holiday –The trip exceeding our expectations in so many ways — the people we met, the scenery, and the sense that we didn’t have to figure out all the little details that made the trip so special. we both really enjoyed the experience and you can be proud of your produce
This was a very peaceful and lovely trek with Abdou the guide and me. We had a 3 days trip with 2 overnights. Everything was organised perfectly, no rush, no accidents, no disappoints. Abdou leaded the way very confidently and gently. I was happy to reach the summit without any pain, with stops for the rest and some lunch brakes made by guide's companion Lahsen the muleman. Also my heavy stuff was carried by his mule. So definitely will return on winter to repeat the climb at heavy conditions, exclusively with Abdou. Thanks a lot, my friend! PS. For those adventurers who climb the Toubkal in 2 days: think twice before do. It is absolutely dangerous for your health to climb so fast such a high mountain. And take your warm clothes and waterproof shoes. Walk safe!
